Introduction to Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche

 

Born in 1985, northern Bhutan, the honorable Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche is the reincarnation of Drukpa Kargyu master. His major guru is the 68th Je Khenpo Tenzin Dendup Rinpoche and His Holiness Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche. In addition, Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche is the Heart-Son (the closest person to the Rinpoche, the successor of the lineage) of Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche.

 

Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche is knowledgeable and gifted with an extraordinary retentive memory. He has in-depth knowledge in Tripiṭaka and Tantras, is able to recite all kinds of scripture fluently and holds all religious knowledge of Drukpa Kagyu. Under the mentorship of His Holiness Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche, he is educated in the way that leads directly to the Buddha nature, emptiness, while practicing Mahamudra, Dzogchen and Six Dharmas of Naropa. His rigorous attitude towards dharma and his vast knowledge have made him one of the great masters in the young generation of Bhutan, also known as "Master of Knowledge and Wisdom."

 

Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche has done many works for benefit all sentient beings includes Buddhist centers in Thimpu and Paro in Bhutan. Teaching 『Six Bardos』, 『The Words of My Perfect Teacher』,『Mahamudra Foundations』and so on. Besides, Kuenga Tenzin Rinpoche is also the author of『Biography of the reincarnations of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal』, 『Biography of Tara』, and『Introduction to Six Bardos』.

 

In 2016, he came to Taiwan and established Dharma Center of the Lineage of Naropa.

In 2018, he established Druk Dharma Wheel of Auspicious Center in Taiwan; Druk Dharma Wheel of Auspicious Hall (Buddhist learning center) and Naropa Library in Paro, Bhutan.

 

Rinpoche’s teaching method leads directly to the key points and provides essential guide to dhamma practitioners. At the same time, he gives different pithy key instructions and uses different teaching methods depending on the foundation of his pupils. Courses that are taught in Taiwan include:
